Because alder is a natural material, grain, coloring, and engraving tone will vary slightly. These differences are part of what makes every ornament unique.

Clear, well-lit photographs with visible faces produce the best engraving. Dark, blurry, heavily shadowed, or distant subjects may lose detail when engraved.

Your photograph may be cropped, have its background removed, or be digitally adjusted to create the strongest engraving. If your photograph is not suitable, I will contact you before beginning.

1. Enter the exact milestone caption, year, and any requested names.

2. Add the ornament to your cart and complete your purchase.

3. After checkout, email one clear photograph to emily@foundryandfur.com. Include your order number and product name.

| PROOFING |

A digital proof will be sent through email within 48 hours. One round of minor revisions is included.

Please review spelling, dates, and photograph placement carefully. If I do not receive a response within 24 hours, I will proceed with the proof as shown to keep your order on schedule.

Design Process: Your photo is used as the foundation for an original design that is refined using a combination of digital and possibly AI-assisted tools before production. Every item is individually prepared and produced after your order is placed. By purchasing, you confirm that any photos you submit are your own or that you have permission to use them.

PHOTO ORDERS: After checkout, email your clear, high-resolution photo(s) to emily@foundryandfur.com. Include your order number and the product name. Proofs and questions will be sent by email. Production begins after the required photos and personalization are received.

PROCESSING: Made to order in 3-6 business days. For custom orders, processing starts after required photos and details are received. Delivery transit time is additional.
